SFUSD Standards 5-8

• Content Standard 18: Students understand that all celestial bodies in the universe are bound togethter by gravitation, the force of attraction that every mass in the universe exerts on each other.

• Exemplars- Describe the effect of motion  and gravitation on objects wihtin the solar system. Use models, graphs, and photographic images of tides, seasons, day and night, eclipses, phases of the moon, asteroids, comets, meteories, etc., as illustrations of these effects.
