Brief Module Summary

This unit is designed to use several different formats to present the concept of forces and how they effect objects. The unit contains teacher and student  background, a webbased
activity, a hands on activity, and a worksheet. We have also provided pre and post tests and a sample lesson plan.

Learning Objectives

The unit emphasize the following concepts.
  What is Gravity? How do the Planets move and how does gravity affect how they move?
 

Pre-Requisites

Some discussion of forces  will help create a picture for the students of how what we see here on earth applies in outerspace.
