Forces Introduces students to Newton's 3 laws of motion and to the concept of forces.

Unit Description

This unit introduces students to forces addressing the following SFUSD Content and Performance Standards:

Standard	Description
Content Standard 7	How forces interact and cause motion
Performance Standards 7.2 and 7.4	Balanced and unbalanced force and motion at a constant rate
Exemplar 7	Investigating how changing forces affect the motion of an object
